Available donor areas: abdomen, flanks, thighs or other fat deposits.

The area that needs volume: breasts, buttocks, asymmetries, depressions or adherent scars.

Realistic volume, fat resorption, recovery, compression and final cost.
What does body lipofilling mean?
Transfer of own fat, or body lipofilling, supposes extracting adipose tissue from unwanted areas, such as the abdomen, flanks or thighs, and its strategic reinjection to enlarge, correct or contour other parts of the body.
Discreet volume, more harmonious proportions
Body lipofilling is suitable when moderate and natural growth is desired of volume, without implants. Because own tissue is used, the feeling to the touch is natural, and the result depends on the quality of the fat, the vascularity of the area and the stability the weight.
Where can fat transfer be used?
Body lipofilling can correct volume, contour, asymmetries or depressions, provided they exist sufficient fat reserves for harvesting.
Breast augmentation with own fat
An alternative to implants for patients who want mild to moderate augmentation. The breast may become fuller, with a natural feeling to the touch.
Buttock remodeling
Buttock fat transfer can add volume and roundness. At the same time, liposuction of the flanks can accentuate the waist and contour.
Correction of asymmetries and scars
Lipofilling can fill deficient areas, post-traumatic depressions or adherent scars, helping to achieve a smoother and more uniform surface.
Post-oncological breast reconstruction
Own fat can be used in reconstructive surgery to finish the contour of a reconstructed breast or to improve damaged tissues.
Not everyone is an ideal candidate
The procedure depends on the existence of sufficient donor areas and realistic expectations regarding the final volume.
- There are sufficient fat stores for harvesting.
- A moderate, natural increase is desired, not a very large volume.
- The weight is relatively stable.
- There are areas that can benefit from liposuction at the same time.
- Natural partial resorption of the transferred fat is accepted.
- Recovery indications and avoidance of local pressure can be followed.
Not all the transferred fat stays
It is normal for some of the injected fat to be resorbed in the first few months. The volume which vascularizes and survives the healing process becomes stable but may vary later with important weight changes.
Minimal pressure on the injected area
After fat transfer, the injected area must be protected. Depending on the location, maybe be necessary to avoid direct pressure, prolonged standing on the treated area and large variations of weight during the healing period.
How much does fat transfer surgery cost?
The procedure involves two stages: liposuction of one or more areas and preparation / fat injection. That is why the price is set individually, depending on the complexity operating plan.
- Plastic surgery consultation / measurements £65
- Body lipofilling surgery Price determined upon consultation
- Operating plan Personalized
Frequently Asked Questions
The most common questions about fat augmentation, resorption, recovery and results.
If I am very thin, can I have breast fat transfer?
If there is not enough fat that can be harvested, the procedure may not be suitable. In this situation, the doctor may recommend a breast augmentation with implants.
Will my breast fat feel like lumps?
Fat properly transferred and integrated into the tissue feels natural. injection technique, the amount transferred and healing influence the quality of the result.
How should I sleep after surgery?
It depends on the treated area. If the transfer is to the breasts, pressure on the chest is usually avoided. If the transfer is to the buttocks, sitting and direct pressure in the first should be reduced weeks, according to the doctor's instructions.
Am I still allowed to lose weight after this procedure?
Ideally, you should maintain a stable weight. If you lose significant weight, the transferred fat it can shrink, just like the rest of the adipose tissue in the body.
Does all the injected fat stay permanently?
Not. Some may be resorbed naturally in the first months. The fat that survives and se vasculature becomes stable but continues to respond to weight variations.
Are there allergy risks?
